March 1st through the 14th, the City of East Lansing will be conducting a phone survey of its residents to find out more about police-community relations.
The purpose of the survey is to measure the perceptions of East Lansing residents regarding the function, operation and fairness of the East Lansing Police Department. This information is intended to help improve department operations and make future decisions regarding policy, training and allocation of resources.
