BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two people after deputies found meth and heroin during a traffic stop in the College Park area.
Deputies arrested Kian Cornelius Cowans and Sabrina Ann Osburn. Cowans was charged with possession of meth while Osburn was charged with trafficking meth and possession with intent to distribute heroin.

GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCSC) - A Lowcountry man is behind bars after detectives found more than 200 pounds of drugs and several rifles at a home in Goose Creek.
The Berkeley County Sheriffâs Office arrested 24-year-old Nathan Dean Martinko. Sheriff Duane Lewis said Martinkoâs arrest came following an investigation that was initiated after several community tips.

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - Berkeley County officials say they are holding a ribbon-cutting ceremony for their new Forensic Services Building.
The brand-new Forensic Services Building is located behind the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office in Moncks Corner and the BCSO says there will be a ribbon cutting 4 p.m. Monday. The 6,850 square-foot building for the Berkeley County Sheriff’s Office Forensic Services Division is replacing a facility the department previously used for storage. The Goose Creek Police Department says seven people were taken to the hospital after a serious accident involving an Amtrak train and a pickup truck Saturday night.
Berkeley County Coroner George Oliver released information on a shooting incident that happened on Dec. 22. In a statement Oliver said the victim is 28-year-old Blake Phillip.
Oliver said Phillip was shot and was pronounced deceased at his home on Calamus Pond Road in Summerville.
Currently the Berkeley County Sheriffâs Office and the Berkeley County Coronerâs Office are investigating the incident.
