Mr Blanch said some comes from Myanmar and Mexico but most comes down the channels from South East Asia.
A 40-year-old man from New South Wales, the alleged driver of the truck, has been charged with several offences, including laundering property/money from proceeds of major offence and two counts of sold or supplied, or offered to sell or supply, a trafficable quantity of methylamphetamine.

More than 175kg of meth and $8 million in cash have been seized by WA Police in a sting targeting interstate drug smuggling.
The bust includes a truck and two vans stopped in quick succession on a highway south of Perth last week.

Burswood Assault and Damage Charges
Perth Detectives have charged two people as part of an ongoing investigation into a violent incident outside an entertainment complex in Burswood on Friday 29 January 2021.
About 10:30pm a group of about 20-30 people, believed to be mainly intoxicated juveniles, arrived at the Great Eastern Highway venue on a ‘party bus’ and gathered on a footpath outside the food court area of the complex. A short time later a second group of about 50 people, a wedding party, arrived on two buses.
It will be alleged members of the first, smaller group became violent and attacked members of the second group. Several vehicles in the immediate area were damaged.
Police dish out more mask charges amid WA lockdown

Two more men have been arrested and charged in separate incidents after allegedly failing to wear a mask during WA’s five-day lockdown.
A 51-year-old Beaconsfield man and a 46-year-old Bunbury man were both charged after they declined to wear a free face mask offered to them by officers.
Most people in WA have accepted wearing a mask – but there have still been several arrests.

Police will allege the 51-year-old was in the Fremantle CBD when officers spotted him without a face mask on three separate occasions from January 31 to February 2.
