10:32 EDT, 29 December 2020 A man is accused of punching a woman in the face and biting off her husband s finger after the couple found him raiding their outdoor fridge during an alleged home invasion on Monday. Jake Ryan Prescott, 23, allegedly attacked the couple aged in their 60s when they confronted him about 9.30pm on Monday after hearing noises on the patio of their home on Acacia Close in Bouvard, near Mandurah in Western Australia. Police alleged Chris and his wife Carol initially chased off the intruder, but Prescott returned to the property - leading to a second confrontation. Prescott then allegedly bit part of Chris finger off and punched Carol in the face, leaving her with serious injuries.
