Michigan s Life Vest Laws: A Reminder
Boat owners should already know these; however, for those that either are new to things or just need a reminder, the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has all the information you need when it comes to life-saving floatation devices and their requirements.

A few noteworthy laws the DNR wants us to keep in mind: All vessels must be equipped with PFD [personal floatation device] for each person on board or being towed. Michigan’s PFD law permits a vessel that is less than 16 feet long, or is a canoe or kayak, to choose to have either a wearable PFD (Type I, II, or III) or a throwable PFD (Type IV) for each person on board.
I love lavender. As a matter of fact, I have lavender plug-ins to make my home so it smells wonderful all year long. Lavender, which is an herb, has many culinary uses. It also makes a great add on to borders and perennial gardens. It adds breathtaking color from early summer into the fall says gardendesign.com. Get ready to enjoy silver green foliage. Also, in case you re wondering, lavender is perfect for creating awesome hedges. You can also grow them for great smelling floral arrangements, sachets, and potpourri.

Will Bob Baffert be Suspended?
Yesterday, was a bad day for horse racing and the worst day for the greatest trainer in horse racing history Bob Baffert.
The horse he trained Medina Spirit won this past Kentucky Derby was found to have 21 picograms of the steroid betamethasone in its system.
So, as we speak the powers to be are trying to figure out if the horse he trained will be disqualified. Medina Spirit was an underdog and won Hall of Fame trainer Bob Baffert his 7
th Kentucky Derby Crown.
The most in the history of horse racing. Baffert, in my books, is regarded as the Vince Lombardi of horse racing trainers. In 1968, Dancer’s Image was suspended for drugs and was stripped of the Kentucky Derby Crown. This was the only horse that this ever happened to.
