Man (32) charged with 63 offences after north Belfast gun incident The PSNI has charged a man with 63 offences after north Belfast incidents 04 May, 2021 10:40 A man has been charged with 63 offences after shots were fired in an incident in north Belfast on Sunday. The 32-year-old man was arrested after reports that two shots had been fired on Silverstream Road at about 10:30am. A window of a property on Manor Street was also damaged. After the man was detained, police searched a property on the Crumlin Road. Charges included possession of a firearm with intent to cause fear of violence, discharging a firearm in a public place and possession of firearms and ammunition in suspicious circumstances.

The man has been charged with two counts of attempted robbery, two counts of going equipped for theft and two counts of carrying a firearm with intent to commit an indictable offence. 13 June 2001 A MAN has been arrested and is currently being held in custody in Armagh in connection with the murder of solicitor Rosemary Nelson in 1999. Rosemary Nelson, a Catholic mother-of-three, died in a car booby trap explosion near her home in Lurgan on March 15, 1999. Police have arrested a 32-year-old man, believed to be from County Armagh.

Chinese national Zhijian Liu (33) was detained by police close to his home at Melrose Street on May 1. Follow-up searches led to the seizure of a sum of cash and suspected false identity documents. Liu appeared before Belfast Magistrates Court charged with possessing Class B drugs with intent to supply, and having criminal property. It was confirmed that the cannabis has an estimated street value of £40,000.
