Police: Caller threatened to blow up Bemidji Area Schools

Bemidji police are investigating what it is calling an unsubstantiated threat to blow up schools in Bemidji.
According to Bemidji Police Department, someone in Ramsey County called the Beltrami County Dispatch Center around 7 a.m. Tuesday and said they were going to blow up Bemidji Area Schools and that they got bombs already set up in every Bemidji Area Public School available.
The caller hung up, prompting Bemidji police, the Beltrami County Sheriff s Office, Minnesota State Patrol and the Minnesota Fusion Center to investigate who made the call – it was traced to Ramsey County – and if the threat was legitimate.

Around 2:39 a.m. on April 18, the Beltrami County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of multiple assaults with a weapon at a residence on Silver Maple Road in Puposky in Beltrami County, according to a criminal complaint.

Several of the protesters locked themselves together, wearing “sleeping dragon” devices, attaching themselves to one another many lying on the ground in sleeping bags for warmth, while others were also locked to the fences outside of the entrances.
