LOCK HAVEN The city of Lock Haven has declared a snow emergency.
City Manager Gregory Wilson issued a release which said on-street parking in the downtown area will be prohibited beginning today at 3 p.m.
The emergency is in preparation for a snowstorm which is expected to bring inches of snow and begin sometime this afternoon.
The following streets will not be available for on-street parking until 4 p.m. Friday, Dec. 18: East Main Street from First Street to Henderson Street East Church Street from Bellefonte Avenue to North Jay Street East Water Street from North Vesper Street to North Jay Street

Drug possession
LOCK HAVEN A case of drug possession was investigated by state police at Lamar on Dec. 8.
According to police, Rickey Duck III was walking along Bellefonte Avenue near the Family Dollar in Lock Haven when he was stopped by police about a stolen firearm. During the encounter, police asked to search Duck’s backpack. Inside, police found numerous bags of crystal methamphetamine along with buprenorphine hydrochloride tablets, glass pipes, empty bags and a scale.
Duck was taken into custody and transported to the Clinton County Correctional Facility.
One-vehicle crash
LOGANTON A one-vehicle accident was investigated by state police at Lamar on Dec. 2.
