Coalition for Disaster Resilient Infrastructure (CDRI), in partnership with member countries, organisations and institutions, is hosting the International Conference on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure - ICDRI 2021, a three-day Interactive Virtual Conference scheduled to be held from March 17 to March 19.

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on Wednesday, said that the COVID-19 pandemic has taught everyone that in an inter-dependent and inter-connected world, no country - rich or poor, in the east or west, north or south - is immune to the effect of a global disaster.
Speaking at the International Conference on Disaster Resilient Infrastructure, the Prime Minister stressed on the need for ensuring the resilience of the global system and said that effect of disaster in one part of the world can quickly spread across the world.

India and Finland on Tuesday held wide ranging discussions during a virtual summit between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his counterpart Sanna Marin which lasted just under an hour.
This was the first interaction between the two Prime Ministers since the Finnish Prime Minister assumed office in 2019.
Both the leaders underlined that the longstanding close relations between India and Finland were based on shared values of democracy, rule of law, equality, and respect for human rights. They reaffirmed their strong commitment to work for multilateralism, a rules-based international order, Sustainable Development Goals and to combat climate change.
