The Temple Police Department is seeking public assistance to identify a suspect involved in a Tuesday evening shooting.
The department released a surveillance camera photo taken at a local store. A man with a goatee, close-cropped hair and glasses is wearing a bright yellow T-shirt and dark pants as he walks into a store, the photo shows.
The shooting occurred at about 9 p.m. at the intersection of Shallow Ford Road and Shallow Ford West Road after a motoristâs vehicle was struck from behind.
City spokesman Alejandra Arreguin said when the parties involved got out, a suspect from the other vehicle shot a man and drove away in the victimâs vehicle.

A Killeen hospital is experiencing a âstress on inpatient bed availabilityâ as Bell Countyâs COVID-19 cases âsurge,â officials said Thursday.
Kevin Roberts, CEO of AdventHealth-Central Texas, said the number of patients with COVID-19 has gone up, âputting stress on the hospital.â
Hospital officials stopped short of saying there was a shortage of beds at the hospital, and refused to say how many beds were available Thursday. They did say AdventHealth is still able to serve the area for medical reasons.
Roberts said releasing the number of beds available is ânot helpfulâ to the public because the number of available beds is constantly changing.
