The Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company (FIEDMC) would play a crucial role in industrial development in the country, said Punjab Governor Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar.
Speaking at the inauguration ceremony of FIEDMC IQTM Training Centre, he stated that the newly established centre would link education with practical training, which would provide skilled manpower for the industrial sector.
“It will help Pakistan enter the fourth industrial revolution,” Sarwar said, adding, “Progress and prosperity are directly linked with industrialisation.”
“It will provide skilled manpower to the industrial units to be established in the Special Economic Zone, Allama Iqbal Industry City and other industrial zones.”

The establishment of new industrial units by Chinese, Asian, European, Turkish and Saudi companies at the industrial zone of Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development and Management Company (FIEDMC) will generate employment opportunities on a vast scale besides providing revenue for the government.
These views were expressed by FIEDMC Chairman Mian Kashif Ashfaq during his visit to the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) on Thursday.
