BAGUIO CITY – Two more fatalities related to the coronavirus disease (COVID-19) were posted on Tuesday, December 29, which brought this city’s death toll to 62, or 1.63 percent of confirmed cases.
The City Health Service Office (CHSO) also reported an increase of recoveries to 55 or 91.47 percent from the total of 3,487 recoveries, while 24 new cases added to the total of 263 active cases, or 6.90 percent of the total of 3,812 confirmed cases as of December 29.
CHSO said a 77-year-old female was admitted on November 18 at Pines City Doctor Hospital, and died on December 16, due to COVID-19 critical acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS), hyperglycemic crisis with sec encephalopathy, hypertension, and diabetes mellitus.
