“If we take anything from this pandemic, I hope it’s the need to invest in a public health infrastructure,” Lyn said on Wednesday’s edition of “Closer Look” while reflecting on the overall response to the coronavirus health crisis. “One of the reasons we’ve had such a challenge in responding in this pandemic is because of decades of underinvestment in public health.”
Lyn, who served on Georgia State’s Public Health Preparedness Task Force, talked with show host Rose Scott about the importance of investing in public health, GSU’s School Of Public Health response during the pandemic and his goals and vision for the school.
