Alice Cooper, wife Sheryl get COVID-19 vaccine and share experience

Alice and Sheryl Cooper have received the COVID-19 vaccine at a facility in Phoenix. In a video statement, the singer revealed that he and his wife have already had COVID-19.  But we got vaccinated anyway, he said. Sheryl Cooper added that the shot was painless. The Coopers, who live in Paradise Valley, were there as volunteers with the Maricopa County Department of Public Health Medical Reserve Corps to thank other volunteers, raise morale and promote vaccination.  They received their shots through the MRC. Team Rubicon, a nonprofit organization that pairs military veterans with first responders to help in times of need, was assisting at the site with volunteer management.

The Maricopa County Public Health Department reported that 18,506 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine have been given out in the county as of Thursday morning, according to its new COVID-19 Vaccine Dashboard.  The dashboard provides a large amount of information regarding the county s distribution of the vaccine, including details on the different phases of distribution, how you can volunteer to help vaccinate, and information for healthcare providers and long-term care facilities.
