Greater Amman Municipality Spokesperson Nasser Rahamneh said that since the onset of extreme weather conditions, the municipality dealt with 65 incidents as of Tuesday evening.
Most of the incidents had resulted from heavy gust of wind reaching more than 100 kilometres per hour, the spokesperson said.
