Bereaved relatives and politicians on both sides of the Irish border have reacted angrily to reported plans by the UK government to ban future prosecutions relating to the Troubles.
After the Guardian revealed the PGA Tourâs commissioner, Jay Monahan, promised suspensions and lifetime bans lie in wait for anybody who agrees to join the new tour â which has a proposed launch date of September 2022 â McIlroy weighed in.

Anthony Joshua and Tyson Fury are facing renewed pressure from MPs to stage both mega-fights at Wembley amid delays in controversial negotiations with Saudi Arabia.
The fierce rivals had been expected to meet in July or August, with Saudi Arabia understood to have offered £107 million to host what is the richest fight in British boxing history.
