The government of Malawi in collaboration with Unicef has launched the Multimedia Campaign on ending child Marriages in the country. Speaking during the opening of the Launch at Bingu Conference Center in Lilongwe on Friday under the theme together we can end child marriages,the Director of Information Chikumbutso Mtumodzi who was the guest of honour said ‘’ We thought of using multimedia campaign to end Child marriages because the multimedia is the best channel of communication in the country.” Mtumodzi further said pictures and programmes that will be aired on national broadcast radios will help in fighting against child marriages in the country.
