EEU develops Draft Agreement on common gas market 27.04.2021 90
The Eurasian Economic Commission has send the Draft Agreement on Common Gas Market to the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), TASS informs.
The document was sent to the country members of the Union – Armenia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Russia, they were proposed to accelerate interstate coordination of the draft agreement as this subject would be brought out at the session of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council. It is planned to ratify the agreement next year and to launch common gas market starting from 2025.
Turkmenistan is not a member of the Eurasian Economic Union but develops close economic cooperation in gas trade. In particular, Russia, which buys Turkmen natural gas, is an important partner of Ashgabat in gas sphere.
