Jason White works for the Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office and Bikers Against Bullies and has owned the property where his home sits for more than 40 years. He told EastIdahoNews.com that his two young children were inside at the time of the fire. His kids noticed the fire and came out of the house quickly and called 911. White says he’s just grateful that his kids are OK and safe, and that’s what matters to him the most.

IDAHO FALLS – The Idaho Falls Fire Department, Bonneville County Sheriff’s Office, and the Bureau of Land Management – Idaho Falls District reminds the public that the smallest of ignition sources during hot and windy conditions could easily cause a fire and result in a misdemeanor or a felony. Target shooting with certain types of ammunition and exploding targets creates an easy ignition source. According to the BLM, exploding targets are prohibited on public land from May 10 until October 20.
