Khursheed Shah asks govt to convene joint session on ‘Afghan issue’ July 20, 2021 SUKKUR: Pakistan People’s Party leader Syed Khursheed Shah has suggested the federal government convene a joint-session of the parliament to address the Afghan issue, foreign policy and the country’s prevailing problems. Talking to the media after a hearing of corruption reference of Rs1.23 billion at the Accountability Court Sukkur on Monday, Khursheed Shah said that the government should consult the parliament, rather look at other institutions to resolve the crisis. “The country has been facing serious issues due to bypassing of the parliament and failing to take the opposition into confidence,” said Khursheed, adding that the current foreign policy led to the recent crisis.
