Olivia Grace Green was last seen at her home off Jones Creek Drive in Powhatan on the evening of May 13. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt and shorts. Police looking for missing 12-year-old Powhatan girl

Deputies are still trying to find 12-year-old Olivia Grace Green who was last seen Thursday evening at her home in Powhatan County. Officials with the Powhatan County Sheriff’s Office said Olivia was last seen at her residence off of Jones Creek Drive. Olivia is described as a white female, 5 ft. tall and weighing 97 pounds. She has blonde hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen wearing a black hoodie sweatshirt and shorts, according to deputies. Officials released a photo of Olivia taken at school on Thursday picturing her wearing Crocs and clothes she may still be wearing.

Sheriff s office: Man fires at deputies responding to home alarm

(WWBT) - A Powhatan County man has been charged after officials say he fired at deputies responding to a home alarm. Powhatan County Sheriff’s Office was called to a home alarm in the 300 block of Bellson Lane around 1 a.m. on Wednesday. Deputies found the home’s front door open and when they announced their presence, the sheriff’s office said the deputies were immediately fired upon from outside the home. Additional units from Powhatan and Chesterfield responded to secure the scene.
