Collision between pedestrian and man riding electric bicycle Officers from the Traffic Enforcement Group North are investigating an incident that occurred on Tuesday, 6 April 2021 between a pedestrian and a person riding an electric bicycle.
Around 8.05am, a 45-year-old woman was running south along the dual use footpath on West Coast Highway in Watermans Bay when she collided with a man riding an electric bicycle.
The male cyclist fell to the ground and became aggressive with bystanders who came to assist the cyclist.
The woman was conveyed to Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital with a broken arm and ribs.

Police are responding to serious crash – Craigie Traffic Enforcement Group North officers are investigating a serious crash that occurred on the north bound lanes of the Mitchell Freeway Craigie on Thursday the 28th of January 2021
Just after 2.21pm, a white Mitsubishi Triton ute travelling north in the left hand lane on Mitchell Freeway drove into the rear of a red Toyota Corolla that was stationary in the western side Emergency lane of the Mitchell Freeway.
The Toyota Corolla was pushed down an embankment on the western side of the freeway and the Mitsubishi Ute rolled onto its roof coming to rest in left the left hand northbound lane.
