Govt ‘taken aback’ by onerous vaccine clauses, Mkhize tells MPs Updated Sinethemba Madolo Share this: Health Minister Zweli Mkhize has assured MPs that the country’s vaccination campaign will continue despite the pause in the rollout of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine.  South Africa has secured an additional 10 million Covid-19 Pfizer vaccines.     It comes a day after SA authorities decided to temporarily halt the inoculations involving J&J due to blood clotting fears.    Mkhize told MPs the extra doses will increase the total number of the two-dose vaccine to 30 million.   “We can now guarantee that the number of people that will be vaccinated with Pfizer has increased from 10 to 15 million.”
