BANGKOK, Feb 6 (Reuters) - A second senior leader of a vast drug syndicate has been arrested in Thailand, a narcotics official said, tightening a transnational dragnet on the group that police say dominates the $70 billion annual Asia-Pacific drug trade.
Following are some key alleged members of the Sam Gor drug syndicate, also known as “The Company”, who have fallen afoul of authorities:
-Tse Chi Lop (57): Also known as Sam Gor, or “Brother Number Three” in Cantonese, the China-born Canadian national was based in Asia and is the suspected senior leader of the syndicate. He was detained in the Netherlands in January pending extradition to Australia to face drug-trafficking charges. Tse’s lawyer declined to comment.

The Narcotics Suppression Bureau (NSB) has arrested several suspected drug dealers, and seized 3.24 million methamphetamine pills and 520 kilogrammes of crystal meth (ice).
NSB chief Montri Yimyaem on Wednesday announced the result of a crackdown which resulted in the arrest of six suspects in four cases along with seizure of the meth pills, crystal ice, 11 cars and other assets.

A Taiwanese man has been arrested with large quantities of drugs believed to have been used in making the âk-powdered milkâ cocktail, during a raid in Bangkok.
Chou Yi Shen, 38, was arrested on Monday with drugs at a condominium in Ratchathewi district.
He was interrogated immediately by a team which included police chief Gen Suwat Jangyodsuk.
After he confessed, police searched his other rooms at five-star condominiums in Huai Khawang, Wang Thong Lang and Klong Toey districts and found more evidence.
