Area Drug Dealer Sentenced To Seven Years In Prison

Read / Add Comments A drug dealer has been sentenced to seven years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of criminal sale of a controlled substance. Putnam County resident Brian Flandreau, age 42, of Lake Carmel, was sentenced on Tuesday, May 11. During a two-month investigation, members of the New York State Police Violent Gang and Narcotics Enforcement Team purchased over $2,800 worth of methamphetamine from Flandreau on four different occasions,  said Putnam County District Attorney Robert V. Tendy. These sales took place at Flandreau’s residence and at locations throughout Putnam County and included sales of cocaine, marijuana, and gamma-hydroxybutyrate acid (GHB), they added.

Lane, if elected, would succeed Sheriff Matt Myers. Lane’s law enforcement career started with the Columbus Police Department, where he spent more than 20 years. He was appointed Chief Deputy Sheriff in 2015. He graduated from Vincennes University, completed coursework at Indiana University and the Drug Enforcement Administration, and is a 2018 graduate of the FBI National Academy. In his role as Chief Deputy, he has been responsible for the operation of the JNET (Joint Narcotics Enforcement Team) as well as coordinating multi-agency cooperative efforts including the joint City/County SWAT team.

Apr 29, 2021 CAPITAL REGION A Gloversville man was one of 15 people who were arrested following a four-day investigation that ran from from April 19 through 22 into child exploitation and human trafficking. The investigation took place throughout the Capital District and resulted in the arrest of the 15 individuals. Two of the accused believed they were meeting a 14-year-old on April 20, Bradley R. Boisen, 25, of Waterford, charged with felony second-degree patronizing a person for prostitution, and second-degree attempted rape; and on April 22, in the town of Clifton Park, Brett F. Dittmar, 25, was charged with felony second-degree patronizing a person for prostitution and second-degree attempted criminal sex act.

(WIS) - A West Columbia man is facing drug trafficking charges and is accused of neglecting a child after Lexington County narcotics agents stopped him during a drug investigation. According to officials, Curley Brooks, 44, is charged with trafficking cocaine, trafficking crack, and unlawful neglect of a child. “Agents from the county’s Narcotics Enforcement Team, along with State Law Enforcement Division agents, were working a case on Glenn Road in Gaston Saturday when they received word cocaine would be in Brooks’ truck,” said Lexington County Sheriff Jay Koon. “They stopped the truck and recovered more than 400 grams of cocaine from the passenger seat.”
