With 2,080 pieces of Yaba stashed in his stomach, Golam Mostafa Mandal landed at Dhaka s Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport from Cox s bazar this afternoon.
He attempted to sneak out through VIP Terminal around 1:00pm to dodge the eyes of law enforcers but Armed Police Battalion (APBn) challenged him, suspecting his movement.
Mostafa initially denied having any contraband items with him but an X-ray later confirmed the yaba in his stomach.
Four held with phensidyl, cannabis in Feni

Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested four people along with 97 bottles of phensidyl and 950 grams of cannabis from Sadar upazila of Feni last night.
The arrestees are Billal Hossain alias Sumon, 25, and Md Rafiqul Islam, 30, of Cumilla s Chauddagram upazila, and Md Jahangir Alam, 25, and Rafiqul islam, 30, of Noakhali s Begumganj upazila, said a Rab official.
Md Junayed Zahedi, acting commanding officer of Rab-7 Feni camp, today said acting on a tip off, a Rab team launched a drive in Mohammad Ali Bazar area on Dhaka-Chattogram Highway last night and arrested the four along with the drugs.

Jung Ilhoon, a member of K-pop group BTOB, is under investigation by South Korean police for marijuana usage, which is illegal in the country.
On Monday, the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency said in a statement to Korean media that the 26-year-old K-pop star had been referred for prosecution in July, with a recommendation that he be indicted for violating the country’s Narcotics Control Act, South Korean news agency Yonhap reports. Several others were also involved in the case.

K-pop boy band BTOB member Jung Ilhoon, 26, spent 100 million won (about $90,340 or P4.34 million) to buy marijuana over a period of four to five years.
Ilhoon was busted by Korean police for using marijuana several times and is facing a case of violating Korea’s Narcotics Control Act, which prohibits the smoking, carrying and trading of the narcotic.
The case against Ilhoon and his accomplices were transferred by the police to the prosecution in July and it was recommended that they be indicted for drug charges.
An exclusive report by Korean media outlet SpoTV News said Ilhoon spent 100 million won for his marijuana use. He deposited the 100 million won cash in an account of an acquaintance, who converted it to cryptocurrency to avoid police detection.
