Panaji (Goa) [India], March 8 (ANI): Officials of the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB ) of Maharashtra and Goa conducted multiple raids and caught drug peddlers including foreigners as well as seized a huge amount of drugs from their possession in Goa.
The team, led by zonal officer Sameer Wankhede conducted raids at multiple locations across Goa late on Sunday as part of an anti-narcotics drive.
Speaking to ANI over the phone, Wankhede said that his team has caught drug peddlers including foreigners. The raid had been going on since morning and the team has now moved to other areas. (ANI)

Goa [India], March 8 (ANI): The Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) teams of Maharashtra and Goa conducted multiple raids in Goa which they arrested a few foreign nationals, including local drug peddlers, and seized a huge amount of drugs from their possession.
The team, led by zonal officer Sameer Wankhede, conducted raids at multiple locations on the intervening night of March 7 and 8 across Goa as part of an anti-narcotics drive.
They recovered 41 blots of LSD (Commercial quantity), 28 grams of Charas, 22 grams of Cocaine, Ganja 1.100 kilograms, 160 grams of white powder believed to be Narcotics Drugs/Psychotropic substance, 500 grams of blue crystal substance suspected to be psychotropic substance and Rs 10,000.

In connection to the drug probe following the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the NCB is expected to issue a formal statement, later in the day, on the simultaneous raids which have been conducted by the central agency since Sunday.
Three persons, including one Hemant Sah alias Maharaj, who is allegedly linked to the drug probe launched following the death of Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput last year, have been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) officials in Goa, an official statement said on Monday. Agency officials have also seized a large amount of drugs including cocaine, LSD, charas, ganja, during the simultaneous raids which are being conducted by the central agency through Sunday and Monday. Two foreigners from Congo and Nigeria have also been arrested by the agency officials.
