Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India], January 23 (ANI): Renowned Bollywood actor and prominent theatre actor Piyush Mishra on Friday said that vulgarity should be banned on web series in over-the-top (OTT) platforms.
While speaking to ANI, Mishra at the Indore Literature Festival said, Vulgarity has been used unnecessarily in the web series, there should be a ban on it.
Referring to the recent controversy over certain scenes in the web series, Tandav and Mirzapur , Mishra said, There is no benefit in creating unnecessary controversy.
His statement comes amid a row over Amazon Prime India s Tandav with several complaints being filed against the web series allegedly for hurting religious sentiments.

Pune (Maharashtra) [India], January 23 (ANI): A Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) team is conducting a raid here in connection with Chinku Pathan s drug cartel.
NCB has also arrested a jeweller after recovering Mephedrone (MD) drug from his shop in Bhiwandi in a raid.
Earlier on Friday, NCB had arrested one more member of Chinku Pathan s gang from the Dongri area of Mumbai and recovered the MD drug from his possession. A diary of Pathan has been recovered, in which the names of 20 drug peddlers are mentioned. The money earned from drug sale was being used in anti-national activities, NCB had said yesterday.
Heroin from Afghanistan is smuggled into Pakistan by the Taliban and ISI and then shipped out from the Karachi port in fishing vessels to Sri Lanka, Maldives and Australia.

The Narcotics Control Bureau is conducting searches at two locations in Mumbai, on the basis of information given by drug peddler Chinku Pathan who was arrested on January 20.
The NCB sources stated that they are looking out for more suspects from the Pathani gang who are under scanner after the agency busted a drug lab in the Dongri area of South Mumbai. NCB sources stated that they have detained Salman Nasir Pathan on Friday night who was caught in possession of âMD, weighing machine and other things used in making drugsâ.
The agency is also looking out for his brother identified as Farhan Biradar in this connection.
