Police allege they recovered drugs and a switchblade from a man arrested in his home community of Clifton. Dwayne Thompson, 38, of Kimberly Lane, was apprehended at Vanderbilt Avenue and Park Hill Lane on Friday at about 6:50 p.m., according to the criminal complaint. Police found glassine envelopes of heroin and cocaine in his front right pocket and a switchblade was confiscated from his left front pocket, the complaint alleges. The suspect possessed the drugs “with intent to sell,” the complaint states.

The criminal complaint alleges that officers confiscated glassine envelopes filled with heroin. Crack cocaine was piled on a plate and stored in various containers including plastic zipper bags and twists. A sedative, Alprazolam marked “G3721,″ allegedly was found in the bedroom along with films of opioid-treatment drugs Buprenorphine and Naloxone.
