Video game fans rejoice: after an eight-year-long wait, Cyberpunk 2077, one of the most eagerly anticipated games in a generation, is finally out on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Developed by CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077 is an ambitious open-world RPG set in the dystopian world of Night City, with a visual design inspired by Blade Runner. Critics have praised the game for its detailed open-world and deep character customization. However, despite its long development time and numerous delays, the console versions are plagued with performance issues.
While this isn t a racing game with hundreds of licensed cars like Forza Motorsport and Gran Turismo, Cyberpunk 2077 features a collection of futuristic cars that can be driven around the city.
The designs for those cars, as well as an updated version of the 1950 s Porsche Spyder, and a dozen other design studies, are all featured in a new book, titled Porsche Unseen, which became available in November. The designs will also be on display at the Porsche Museum in Stuttgart, Germany, starting in 2021.
To launch the book, Porsche released images of models for three of the concept vehicles, the Porsche 919 Street, the Porsche Vision Spyder and the electric van concept, called the Renndienst.

The Street is based on the design and technology of Porsche s 919 Hybrid, which won the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans sports car race three years in a row, from 2015 to 2017. This concept would promise to make the exhilarating driving experience of the [Le Mans] race car available to amateur drivers, Porsche said of the Street concept design in a press release.

The idea of Porsche building an SUV was controversial when the Cayenne launched in 2002. But the German automaker was already exploring the possibility of selling a high-riding vehicle alongside its traditional 911 sports cars long before then.
Back in 1989, Porsche presented the Panamericana, one of the craziest 911 concept cars the firm has ever built. Named after the notorious Carrera Panamericana endurance race dominated by Porsche in the early 1950s, the Panamericana was a one-off concept built for Ferry Porsche as an 80th birthday present.
