A PEDESTRIAN has been rushed to hospital with serious injuries following a collision involving a transit van. Dorset Police say the Bournemouth man, aged in his 20s, is not thought to be in a life-threatening condition. His family has been informed. The accident happened around 4.35pm on Thursday, February 25, at St Leonard’s Road, near to the junction with Stewart Road. It involved a silver Ford Transit panel van and a pedestrian. Police Constable Simon Hatch, of the traffic unit, said: “We are carrying out an investigation to establish the full circumstances of this collision and I would urge anyone with information to please come forward.
