The Sindh government appointed Imran Yaqoob Minhas as the new Additional Inspector General of Police, Karachi, a notification from the Services, General, Administration, and Coordination Department said Monday.
The new police chief has exchanged portfolios with Ghulam Nabi Memon, as the latter is now posted as the additional inspector general of police, special branch Sindh.

The Sindh government on Monday appointed Imran Yaqoob Minhas as the new Karachi police chief in place of Ghuman Nabi Memon, with the latter being transferred and posted to the position previously held by Minhas.
In a notification, the Sindh government stated: Imran Yaqoob Minhas, an officer of Police Service of Pakistan (BS-21), Additional Inspector General of Police, Special Branch Sindh is transferred and posted with immediate effect and until further orders as Additional Inspector General of Police, Karachi Range vice Ghulam Nabi Memon, PSP (BS-21).

Imran Yaqoob Minhas has been appointed as the new Additional Inspector General of Police, Karachi, a notification from the Sindh Government s Services, General, Administration, and Coordination Department said Monday.

CHITRAL: Shazia Ishaq, from Boni town of Chitral, became the first female ASP from the Malakand division after clearing the Central Superior Services (CSS) examinations. In regard to her achievement, Shazia said hard work is never in vain and that she wishes to become a beacon of hope to the women of Chitral. She added that women too, like men, can gain prominence in any field they desire if given the opportunity. Shazia further asserted that perseverance, dedication and steadfast commitment to one’s goals can pay dividends in achieving one’s goal. She had applied for the Police Service of Pakistan (PSP) and had sat for CSS 2020 examinations. Shazia received her primary education in Upper Chitral and then transitioned to Islamia College Peshawar for higher education.
