CALGARY Innisfail RCMP are searching for one suspect and have charged two others after a break and enter early Friday morning. Friday morning at around 1:10 a.m., Innisfail RCMP received a call about a break-in at the Horn Hill transfer station on Highway 42 near Penhold, Alta. RCMP officers responded to the call, and spotted a number of individuals still on site. The suspects fled on foot. Officers were able to locate one suspect on an acreage, with the help of the RCMP Police Dog Service. A second suspect was caught walking down Highway 42. After investigating, Darrel Viktor Hokanson, 43, of Rumsey, Alta., and 49-year-old Sheldon Richard Metcalfe, from the Red Deer area, have both been charged with breaking and entering.
Five arrested after report of shots fired in Williams Lake

Williams Lake RCMP say they received a call Monday evening reporting multiple gunshots coming from a residence in the 1900 block of South Lakeside Drive in the city.
Police say they immediately attended and set up containment in the area with support from Police Dog Service.
According to police, verbal callouts were made to people in the home, and four people came out and were taken into custody without incident. Police then entered the home, and found one more person.
Police say they obtained a search warrant, and located two shotguns and multiple rounds of ammunition.
UPDATE: Missing Man Found
UPDATE 4:01 PM:
Williams Lake RCMP said they have found the missing man they were searching for in the Doyle Lake Road area.
Staff Sargeant Del Byron said the matter is under investigation.
UPDATE 2:37 PM:
Williams Lake RCMP Staff Sargent Del Byron says they are asking homeowners in the area to check buildings around their properties for anything signs of the missing 75-year-old male.
Anyone who sees anything suspicious or out of the ordinary is asked to contact the Williams Lake RCMP.

Police Investigating Weapons Offence At Tree Planting Camp in the Cariboo

Williams Lake RCMP was called to a tree-planting camp near Mcleese Lake Road yesterday (May 10).
It was reported that a person at the camp had a firearm and was chasing another person.
Corporal Madonna Saunderson said Police immediately responded and due to the reported presence of the firearm, the Emergency Response Team and Police Dog Service were called to assist.
Police said the suspect was seen going into her residence at the camp and it was believed that another person was also inside the residence.
“Attempts were made both verbally, from a distance, and by phone to have the people exit the house,” Saunderson said, “however all attempts were unsuccessful. Using tactics they are trained in, ERT was able to have the individuals safely leave the house where they were arrested without incident. They were later released on scene without process”.
