Investigators are still working to pinpoint a motive in last week’s shooting that killed a 43-year-old Jamestown man.
The Jamestown Police Department is asking the public’s assistance in not only providing information that could lead to a potential motive in the Feb. 26 homicide but also how the suspect may have left the scene.
Angel Ortiz Rodriguez was shot and killed at his 38 Peach St. residence. Officers were notified of the shooting shortly after midnight, and Rodriguez was located at the side of the property.
The city man was rushed to UPMC Chautauqua but was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at the hospital.
