POLK COUNTY, Texas On May 2, 2021, Deputies with the Polk County Sheriff’s Office and Child Protective Services responded to 345 Robbie Road to follow up on an incident involving ongoing issues related to a 2-year-old child walking unsupervised in the middle of the roadway.
Deputies and Child Protective Services spoke to the mother, Randi Markham, and another female subject on the scene, Brittany Ryan, both admitting to consuming drugs before the deputies arrival and while the children were inside the home with them.
Probable cause was developed by deputies on scene and a search warrant was applied for and obtained.

POLK COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - Polk County Sheriffâs Office narcotics detectives and Texas Department of Public Safety troopers found two suspects in a multi-county crime spree hiding under a bed in a stolen camper trailer on April 21.
Law enforcement officers seized drugs and guns and recovered numerous pieces of stolen property.
Cody Keith Norton, 27, of Tyler, and Cynthia Elaine Hodges, 34, of Tyler, were both arrested at the scene.

POLK COUNTY, Texas (KTRE) - A woman was shot during a party the night of January 30 at the Siesta County Subdivision according to the Polk County Sheriffâs Office.
The sheriffâs office reports the 19-year-old woman received a gunshot wound to her abdomen during a fight involving several people at a party.
The woman was taken to Kingwood Hospital. At this time, she is in stable condition in the ICU according to the Polk County Sheriffâs Office.
Detectives interviewed several people present at the time of the shooting and ask that anyone with information contact the Polk County Sheriffâs Office Criminal Investigation Division at 936-327-6810.
