WORCESTER, Mass., Feb. 24, 2021 /PRNewswire/ The 800 registered nurses at St. Vincent Hospital (SVH), who are negotiating a new contract with Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare, delivered the required 10-day notice to hospital management on Tuesday evening, notifying them of their intent to strike the hospital beginning at 6 a.m. on Monday, March 8 if Tenet continues to refuse to heed nurses call to increase staffing levels to better protect their patients during the ongoing COVID-19 crisis and beyond.
