At least 170 Palestinian journalists were injured and 33 media organizations bombed during Israel s military onslaught on the Gaza Strip, according to the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate (PJS),
Anadolu Agency reported. The offices of 33 media organizations were destroyed during the Israeli offensive on Gaza, PJS chairman Nasser Abu Bakr told Anadolu Agency on Saturday.

The Arab Center for the Development of Social Media (7amleh) documented 500 violations of digital rights in Palestine between 6 and 29 May. The International Federation of Journalists (IFJ) and the Palestinian Journalists Syndicate (PJS) expressed deep concerns over the role of social media platforms in enabling the censorship and threats during the recent events in Palestine and Israel and demanded urgent explanations from the companies.

Palestinian journalist Yusef Abu Hussein has been killed in an Israeli air raid that struck his house in the besieged Gaza Strip, according to his family and colleagues.
Hussein, a broadcaster for the the local Voice of Al-Aqsa radio station, was among the four Palestinians killed in the early hours of Wednesday as Israel continued its relentless bombardment on the besieged enclave.
The journalist’s father, Muhammed Abu Hussein, said the family home in the Sheikh Radwan neighbourhood was targeted by a missile, followed by two more strikes.
