RAMALLAH, July 21 (Xinhua) Palestine called on the European governments to forbid their companies from trading with Israeli settlements in the Palestinian territories, Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas Fatah party on Wednesday said in a press statement. It is time for the European governments to implement international law on stopping all kinds of commercial dealings with Israeli settlements built on the occupied Palestinian territories, the statement said.
On Monday, Ben & Jerry s, a U.S.-based ice cream maker, announced in a statement that it will stop selling ice cream in the settlements in the Israeli-occupied West Bank and annexed East Jerusalem.
