The U.S. Attorney’s Office says 38 year-old William Hamann has pleaded guilty to one count of sex trafficking of a child. On several occasions between 2018 and July 2019, Hamman paid the girl for oral sex and recorded her performing sex acts on his phone.
The girl was 15 years-old during their first encounter. Eugene Police detectives and FBI agents arrested Hamman in July 2019 when he came to see the minor a fourth time.
In August 2019, a federal grand jury charged Hamman with sexual exploitation and trafficking of a child, possession of child pornography, and attempted sex trafficking of a child. Lane County Circuit court also leveled several counts against him.

EUGENE, Ore. A former Eugene elementary school teacher pleaded guilty today for sexually abusing a minor female, announced U.S. Attorney Billy J. Williams.

According to court documents, on several occasions beginning in 2018 and continuing until July 2019, Hamann paid a minor female for oral sex and recorded the minor performing the sex acts. The minor female was 15 years old during the first encounter with Hamman. Eugene Police Department detectives and FBI agents arrested Hamann on July 26, 2019, when he came to meet the minor a fourth time. Agents searched his mobile phone and found a recording of one of the sex acts. Hamman used social media to arrange the meetings with the minor.

In August 2020, Deordio pleaded guilty to one count of sexual exploitation of a minor, three counts of advertising child pornography, two counts of distribution of child pornography, two counts of transportation of child pornography, one count of receipt of child pornography and one count of possession of child pornography. He was initially charged in 2018 in Berkshire Superior Court for rape and abuse of a child, aggravated by an age difference. The charges related to an incident the year before involving an 8-year-old.
