A 73-year-old Warren County man has been charged with sexually assaulting a child younger than 13 years old, the county prosecutor’s office reported Thursday morning.
In an investigation conducted by the prosecutor’s office’s Special Victims Unit and Mansfield Township police, Cristino S. DelRio, of the 100 block of Jefferson Street, is charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault with a victim younger than 13 (a first degree offense), two counts of sexual assault with a victim younger than 13 (a second degree offense) and one count of endangering the welfare of a child (a second degree offense), a news release said.
Warren Co. man faces several child porn charges after 5-month investigation

A 57-year-old White Township man is charged with several counts of possessing and distributing child pornography, the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office announced Friday morning after a five-month investigation.
George Oakes IV, of the first block of Colby Court, is charged with one count of manufacturing child porn, two counts of distributing child porn, three counts of possession of child porn (more than 1,000 images), and two counts of possession of child porn (fewer than 1,000 images), Prosecutor Jim Pfeiffer said in a news release.
Oakes was arrested Wednesday, Pfeiffer said, and freed from custody that afternoon pending further court action, records indicate.
Man stabs fellow passenger, severs own finger on Greyhound bus, N.J. prosecutor says

An unruly man on a New York City-bound Greyhound bus stabbed a fellow passenger several times early Sunday morning, the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office said.
The incident began about 1 a.m. with the man screaming and arguing aboard a bus on Interstate 80 in Warren County, Prosecutor Jim Pfeiffer said later Sunday morning.
The driver called police and pulled off at the Hope Township exit, which is across the street from a New Jersey State Police station, Pfeiffer said.
Troopers arrested Quientell Donaldson, 37, of Syracuse, the State Police said Sunday evening.
N.J. man charged in financial scam in Warren County that netted him $200K, authorities say

A 58-year-old financial advisor from Morris County who had an office in Warren County is charged in a scam that netted him at least $200,000, which he spent, the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office reports.
The two-year prosecutor’s office investigation revealed Brian Allen Day, of the 100 block of Old Turnpike Road in Washington Township, “solicited” the money from at least two victims “to buy in to an investment opportunity promising substantial returns,” the news release said.
“The investigation revealed that these promises were not fulfilled and that Day used the money to finance personal endeavors.”
