THE final of Harrogate and District Got Talent (HGT) saw Paige Sheriden-Adams named overall winner, with former Bedale High School student Freddie Cleary coming third. Contestants from across the Harrogate district and beyond submitted videos of themselves performing to the Facebook group, created by local film producer and binman Velton Lishke. Each week, the videos with the most likes were chosen to go through to the next round with the successful contestants required to submit a new video and the final five acts making it through to the judging stage. The contestants competed for a £450 cash prize, provided by a number of sponsors, as well as trophies for first, second and third place.
