For as long as she can remember, the sugarbeet industry starting with the raising of sugarbeets has played an important role in Norma Burbank’s life.
“I have early memories of growing up around sugarbeets on our farm. My first paying job was hoeing beets,” she said. “And, every year while I was in elementary school, we had a ‘Field Day’ where we toured the Amalgamated Sugar Factory at Nyssa, Ore.”

As the amount of time young teenage girls spend glued to Instagram, TikTok and other social media sites goes up, so does their long-term risk for suicide, a new study warns.
The finding stems from a decade spent tracking social media habits and suicide risk among 500 teenage boys and girls, the longest such effort to date, the study authors said.

Reid is responsible for much of the team s recent glory. Up until 2020, the guy didn t have a Super Bowl ring to his name, but he still amassed a treasure trove of conference championships and brought teams back from the brink of complete failure. He s a coaching heavyweight, to say the least.
