Tuesday, February 2, PWHD Vaccinations Scheduled Appointments: If you are scheduled to receive your COVID-19 vaccine at George Mason University Beacon Hall, Kelly Leadership Center, Potomac Middle School, or Veterans Memorial Park on Tuesday, February 2, and your appointment were scheduled before 10:00 AM, your appointment has been canceled due to the hazardous weather conditions.
Please check your email for rescheduling instructions or call the PWHD Call Center Monday after 9:00 AM for assistance.
All appointments scheduled for 10:00 AM or later will occur as scheduled. If you have an appointment for 10:00 AM or later. If you cannot safely travel to the vaccination site, please call the PWHD Call Center Tuesday after 9:00 AM for assistance rescheduling.

WOODBRIDGE, VA The Prince William Health District said the county will receive 5,000 additional COVID-19 vaccines next week in addition to its regular allocation, according to a press release. Vaccinations will be available by appointment only at Potomac Middle School, the Kelly Leadership Building, and Beacon Hall. We are surprised and grateful that we got extra doses of the vaccine, said Dr. Allison Asher, Prince William Health District s health director. Our goal is to administer these vaccines as quickly as possible, to get as many Prince William area residents vaccinated and off the wait list as we possibly can.

Prince William County Public Schools currently has more students back in the classroom than perhaps any other school district in the region, with more than 13,000 children in Pre-K through third grades now getting two days per week of in-person instruction.
Those are students whose parents chose the hybrid learning model.
The school district s current plan would then allow kids in 4th, 5th, 6th, and 9th grades whose parents chose the hybrid learning model to return to the classroom beginning February 25. Students in 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grades would follow on March 2.
Novant to vaccinate more teachers Prince William, Manassas, Manassas Park
Novant Health UVA Health System, Prince William County Public Schools, Manassas City Public Schools, and Manassas Park City Schools today announced that the health system would vaccinate employees of the three area public school districts.
Starting in February, Novant Health UVA Health System anticipates receiving a weekly allotment of 2,925 doses of the Pfizer BioNTech-COVID-19 vaccine from the Prince William Health District, based on an agreement reached on Jan. 22. This weekly allotment will supply vaccination clinics for employees of Manassas City Public Schools, Manassas Park City Schools, and any Prince William County Public Schools employees who were not vaccinated at earlier clinics.
