Multiple Keokuk residents arrested on drug charges

May 11, 2021 Keokuk, Ia-  The Lee County Narcotics Task Force has reported the arrests of multiple Keokuk residents on felony and misdemeanor drug charges. 59-year-old Kenneth Howell of Keokuk was arrested on Thursday, May 6th 2021, at his residence in the 1100 block of Concert Street in Keokuk. Howell was charged with Delivery of over 5 grams of Methamphetamine, 2nd or subsequent offense; Possession with Intent to Deliver less than 5 grams of methamphetamine, 2nd of subsequent offense; Drug tax Stamp Violation, Maintaining a Drug House, Unlawful Possession of Prescription Pills, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Two Keokuk Juveniles were also arrested on Friday, May 7th 2021 at HyVee in Keokuk.  The two juveniles were charged with Possession with intent to deliver Marijuana, Drug Tax Stamp Violation, Maintaining a Drug House, Unlawful Possession of Prescription Pills, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

2 Montrose men, 1 Woman arrested on drug charges

April 8, 2021 Montrose, Ia-  The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports the arrest of multiple Montrose residents on Felony and Misdemeanor drug and weapons charges. 40-year-old Jason Hartman, 45-year old David Paris, and 64-year-old Pearl Philip all of Montrose, Iowa were arrested on Tuesday, April 6th, 2021 in different locations. Hartman was arrested at the Montrose City Hall and was charged with Felon in Possession of a Firearm; Possession of Ammunition by a prohibited person; Possession of a Controlled Substance- Methamphetamine 2nd Offense; Maintaining a Drug House, Unlawful Possession of Prescription Pills and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Paris was arrested at the Keokuk Police Department. Paris is charged with Possession with Intent to deliver more than 5 grams of Methamphetamine; Drug Tax Stamp Violation; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Keokuk man arrested for drug possession

January 7, 2021 Keokuk, Ia-  The Lee County Narcotics Task Force reports the arrest of a Keokuk man on Misdemeanor drug charges. 34-year-old Lane Miller of Keokuk was arrested on January 3rd, 2021. Miller was charged with 3 counts of Possession of Controlled Substance to include methamphetamine, marijuana, and prescription pills, 2 counts of Unlawful Possession of Prescription Pills, and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia. Miller will also be held at the Lee County Jail on an outstanding warrant. The arrests of Miller stems from a search warrant conducted by the Lee County Narcotics Task Force after the Keokuk Police Department responded to 2928 S. 7 th St. in Keokuk for a report of a burglary in progress and observed illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia inside the residence.
