Frisbie Memorial Hospital marks one year with HCA Healthcare
Staff Report
ROCHESTER HCA Healthcare acquired Frisbie Memorial Hospital (FMH) March 1, 2020. The transition, complicated by an unprecedented pandemic, made the formerly independent hospital the 19th hospital in the HCA Healthcare Capital Division.
The FMH team had to make many adjustments to bring HCA Healthcare technology, tools, and procedures online during the pandemic
“One unanticipated outcome that came out of the pandemic was the teamwork and forging a bond that would have taken much longer,” said FMH chief executive officer Jeff Scionti. “The staff have been amazing. They displayed resiliency through a pandemic, a transition, and changes in the systems they work with to do their jobs. Through that, what we’ve accomplished has been extraordinary.”
