Join the Brookfield Library for a workshop with the Women s Center of Greater Danbury on Wednesday, April 14 (livestreamed) at 7pm.
They will provide an overview of the dynamics of child sexual abuse, warning signs and identification, primary prevention strategies, and the impact of trauma on survivors during and after experiencing sexual assault.
This program will be live-streamed to the Brookfield Library’s YouTube page. No registration or login is necessary.

Brookfield Library is excited to announce that this year s One Town, One Read book is Afterlife by Julia Alvarez. The Library will also be offering a youth companion book Return to Sender by Julia Alvarez, for ages 10 and up.
One Town, One Read (OTOR) is a town-wide reading program with the goal of building community spirit through a shared reading experience by encouraging everyone in town to read the same book. We will be providing a book giveaway of 200 signed copies of Afterlife, as well as 100 signed copies of Return to Sender.
