Lexington Two students build, design Cayce picnic tables

CAYCE, S.C. Students at Lexington School District Two have helped create new picnic tables for people to enjoy in Cayce.
Michelle Giovannone, the art teacher at Brookland-Cayce High School, says Mayor Elise Partin of Cayce asked her Art 2 students if they would be interested in painting picnic tables.
These tables were originally built by students at the Lexington Two Innovation Center.

CAYCE, S.C. Four students at Brookland-Cayce High School were selected to be a part of the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA) Honor Choir.
Wendy Humphries, the Choral Director at Brookland-Cayce High School, says this is a big honor. We are a part of the South Carolina American Choral Directors Association. This is choral directors from across the state, that work with their high school students and prepare their students for this event, said Humphries.

WEST COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) - Lexington School District Two has announced it will be holding in-person graduation ceremonies for the class of 2021.
In-person graduation ceremonies will be held for two of the district high schools.
The graduation ceremony for Airport High School is set to begin on Thursday, June 17 at 8 a.m.
The graduation ceremony for Brookland-Cayce High School is set to begin on Friday, June 18 at 8 a.m.
Details about in-person ceremonies for other schools will be released later this Spring.
