Adams scores hotel union endorsement in mayoral bid

A politically-influential union representing hotel workers is poised to endorse Eric Adams’ mayoral campaign a significant mark of approval for a top-tier candidate whose bid has highlighted some of his long-standing political rifts.
The Hotel Trades Council will throw its organizing power behind the Brooklyn borough president, positioning it as the second major labor union to weigh in on the crowded field of Democrats looking to replace outgoing Mayor Bill de Blasio.
