BBMP is keeping one covid care centre per zone. Other CCCs will be activated on a need-basis
As the covid-19 cases have come down sharply, the Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has reduced the number of covid care centres (CCCs) to one facility per zone. When the pandemic was at its peak in May and June, the civic body had rushed to create nearly 60 centres for admitting and treating covid patients who were asymptomatic or suffering from mild symptoms. The number of active CCCs has now been reduced to seven.
Each zone, except
