Apr 29, 2021 A 70-year-old man is dead and his wife is hurt after a bee attack in Texas. The bees swarmed from a tree at a home in Breckenridge Monday, sending Thomas Hicks into cardiac arrest. When fire crews arrived, the swarmed turned on them. After the two victims were taken away from the home, a local bee keeper was called out to help locate and remove the hive full of 60-thousand honey bees.

Man found dead in Blue River in Breckenridge The man was wearing snowboarding boots and pants when his body was found in the river Monday afternoon. Author: Janet Oravetz (9News) Updated: 5:13 PM MST December 15, 2020 BRECKENRIDGE, Colo. Investigators said a man was found dead in the Blue River in Breckenridge Monday afternoon. Just before 2 p.m., officers with the Breckenridge Police Department (BPD) responded to a report of a body in the river adjacent to the satellite parking lot, which is located at 1690 Airport Road just north of downtown Breckenridge. The Summit County Coroner’s Office also responded to conduct an investigation and recover the remains. At this time the cause and manner of death are still being determined.
